Alongside the West shore of Green Bay is the Historic West Shore Fishing Museum. To commemorate an achievement that took 10-yrs, many volunteers, and several donors Is the latest boardwalk. Volunteer Noreen Johnson says, “the targets for this venture were being to have folks enjoy the beauty of the Bayshore and we are also educating them on the environment.”
“We are also teaching about the background of the pink rock,” suggests Johnson.
The West Shore Fishing Museum is within Bailey Park located around 15 miles north of Menominee on M-35 Just comply with the shady driveway into the museum grounds on the north stop of Bailey Park. They are open up now by way of Labor Day.
