Emily Henderson Launches Online Platform That’s Essentially Craigslist for Design Lovers

From House Beautiful

Want to connect with others who love design as much as you do? Well you’re in luck: Interior designer Emily Henderson has launched a platform specifically for those who want to get more involved with the design community.

The platform–called EHD Insider Community–is a space where readers, stylists, designers, and anyone else intrigued by design even in the slightest can engage with each other. Joining the membership-based online community gives you access to forums where members can get design advice or share a cool find, like an insane house tour or stunning new paint color. Those who join can also enjoy ad-free daily blog posts on the designer’s website, Style By Emily Henderson, and a behind-the-scenes peek at what the Emily Henderson Design team is up to.

The best part? There’s a “Garage Sale” group where people can trade, sell, or buy items from fellow members. “It’s a design-centric Craigslist, with less spam and hopefully less risk,” Henderson shared in a blog post. The designer launched it with 12 pieces of her own–some vintage and some from photo shoots–and will be adding more to it every week. Bonus: Like Craigslist, the prices are manageable, with items like a bench for $60 or a sofa for $450.

Anyone can join the network for $9.99 a month with the first two weeks free. If you don’t want to commit right away, you can still get a two-week free trial and cancel if you decide it’s not for you!
